Hayman Resort

Location: Located in Whitsundays, with daily flights from major cities in Australia. Flight is to Great Barrier Reef Airport (on Hamilton Island), where the Hayman experience starts aboard a luxury motor yacht, as it cruises towards the resort. Surrounded by the magnificient Great Barrier Reef, this is considered to be Australia's premier island. (Price of accommodation excludes boat and air transfers, which must be booked seperately).For transfers between Hamilton Island and Hayman Island, Hayman provide a 1 hour luxury cruise at cost. These transfers are scheduled to meet all incoming commercial flights into the Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island. A representative from Hayman will meet you and escort you to the launch. Alternatively the resort provides a service between Shute Harbour and Hayman that departs twice daily at 8:15am and 5:15pm. These transfers are also at cost. Transfers can also be booked in conjunction with air travel by contacting the resort directly.

Restaurant: When it comes to dining, there is much to choose from. Oriental - exotic cuisine set in Japanese Gardens; La Trattoria - Italian / Mediterranean; Azure - contemporary Australian cuisine.

Exterior: The islands's only resort is nestled on the southern shore, lapped by the warm and gentle waters of the Pacific Ocean.The resort consists of several low rise buildings, mostly hidden amongst the trees and magnificent gardens. Sandstone walkways weave through the lush gardens, shady ponds and crystal waters spill into tropical palm fringed beaches. The resort's main feature is its impressive lagoon swimming pool.

Lobby: An elegant lobby which leads to a luxurious club lounge offering the perfect place to unwind over a drink and a game of billiards or a board game. There is also live piano music each night. Actual registration / check in taking place on board the boat prior to arrival at the resort.

General: There are many activities on Hayman: Fitness centre, windsurfing, squash courts, billiards, table tennis, snorkelling, paddle skis, walks, jacuzzi, card and games, hobbie cat sailing, tennis, 9-hole putting green, cinema and more.
